Virtual event: What works in deescalation and alternative responses: The state of the evidence so far

The Niskanen Center and R Street Institute are excited to host a series of virtual panel discussions on issues related to law enforcement de-escalation, crisis response, and the implementation of the Law Enforcement De-escalation Training Act. Our second webinar, “What Works in Deescalation and Alternative Responses: The State of the Evidence So Far,” will take place on Thursday, October 3rd, at 1 pm (EST). 

Jillian Snider, Policy Director at R Street Institute, will moderate a panel discussion among three of the country’s top experts on this issue:
 

• Robin Engel, Senior Research Scientist at the Ohio State University.
   
• Harold Pollack, Helen Ross Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago.
   
• Richard Hahn, senior policy analyst at the Niskanen Center.
