Helen Weston

Helen Weston is the Government Affairs Associate for Criminal Justice at the Niskanen Center. She assists in developing, advocating, and researching proposals to advance Niskanen’s criminal justice priorities at the federal and state levels.

Prior to joining Niskanen, Weston served as a policy analyst at CPAC’s Nolan Center for Justice, where she worked regularly with Congress and state legislatures to advance policies to strengthen public safety and government accountability. Before that, she aided legislative research and advocacy efforts on issues important to prosecutors at the federal and state levels.

Weston earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology with a criminal justice emphasis from Hope College in Michigan.
