Matthew Bulger is the government affairs manager for criminal justice at the Niskanen Center. He manages Niskanen’s portfolio of research, policy, and government affairs work to reduce crime and punishment. Previously, Bulger was the senior policy manager at Dream Corps JUSTICE and the legislative director for the American Humanist Association. Bulger is currently earning his J.D. from the American University’s Washington College of Law, and previously received his MPP and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the George Washington University and his BA in Political Science from the American University.
