Cassandra Zimmer-Wong

Cassandra Zimmer-Wong is a Senior Immigration Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center, where her work spans labor migration, state and local advocacy, refugee resettlement, and workforce integration. Her research has been featured in Bloomberg, the New York Times, NPR, and the Los Angeles Times among other outlets.

Prior to joining Niskanen, Zimmer-Wong worked in policy influence and advocacy at Labor Mobility Partnerships. Before that, she spent three years at the Center for Global Development, focusing on migration, displacement, and humanitarian policy. Earlier in her career, she was an American Voices Fellow at Stanford University.

Zimmer-Wong earned a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from American University.
