Evan Burt is a policy analyst for criminal justice at the Niskanen Center, where he helps research, develop, and communicate Niskanen’s criminal justice policy agenda. Burt has worked as a criminal justice policy analyst; educator; a specialist on money laundering; and a higher education policy advocate. He earned a master’s degree in global policy studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.
