Gil Guerra
Gil Guerra is a Senior Policy Analyst for Immigration and Security at the Niskanen Center, where he researches immigration and foreign policy, migration-related security issues, and immigrant assimilation in the United States. He is also a contributing writer at The Dispatch.
Prior to joining Niskanen, Guerra worked in academic programs at the American Enterprise Institute and completed fellowships at the Hudson Institute, the Hertog Foundation, and The Fund For American Studies. His writing has appeared in outlets that include Foreign Policy, Americas Quarterly, and The Hill.
A US-Ireland Alliance Scholar, Guerra earned a master’s degree in global security and borders from Queen’s University Belfast and a bachelor’s degree in political science with high honors from Swarthmore College. He is available for media engagements in English and Spanish.
