Rohan Aras is a Senior Transportation Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center, where he focuses on using urban transportation to improve social outcomes, with an emphasis on housing abundance. Previously, Aras was a data scientist at the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory, where he conducted data analyses for state and federal agencies.

Aras earned a doctorate and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University, and bachelor’s degrees in informatics and in mathematics and urban planning from the University of Washington.
