Sylvia Bryan is a Policy Analyst with Niskanen’s Social Policy department, where she focuses on employment policy and social insurance issues.

Bryan came to the Niskanen Center from the Congressional Research Service, where she provided research support and conducted policy and legislative analysis for Members of Congress and their staff on topics in domestic social policy. Previously, she worked as an economics undergraduate research assistant and was employed in the screenprinting industry.

Bryan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas with minors in history and mathematics.
