Corey Schrodt is the Government Affairs Director at the Niskanen Center, leading the daily operations of the government affairs team. This includes developing organizational strategy and processes and providing critical guidance. Schrodt also leads caucus and coalition management with Niskanen’s closest Capitol Hill partners, building strong relationships to advance pragmatic, durable policies shaped by the center’s policy teams.

Prior to joining Niskanen, Schrodt served on the staffs of three members of Congress, including as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Francis Rooney (R–Fla.). Over more than a decade on Capitol Hill, he earned a reputation for collaborating with members of Congress, their staffs, and stakeholders on both sides of the aisle to advance legislation. He is an expert in congressional operations and how to convert policy ideas into actionable legislation.
