Johan Cavert

Johan Cavert is a Transmission Policy Analyst with the Niskanen Center’s Climate Team. His work focuses on public policy that supports decarbonization and the development of a clean and resilient energy grid. Previously, he worked at The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. Johan received a B.A. in Economics and Hispanic Studies from Oberlin College. He completed a 2019 Humanity In Action Fellowship in The Netherlands and a 2020-2021 Fulbright-García Robles grant in Mexico.
