Lawson Mansell
Lawson Mansell is a Health Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center who works on policies to improve the supply of affordable healthcare. Prior to joining Niskanen, he was a research associate at the Milken Institute in Santa Monica, California, where he authored reports on regional workforce trends and health disparities.
Previously, Mansell worked on education and healthcare policy issues in his home state of South Carolina, where he also served on the staff of the state’s 1st Congressional District. His work has appeared in The Hill, The Argument, The Milken Institute Review, and other publications.
Mansell earned an MPP from Pepperdine University School of Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Thomas Edison State University. In 2023, he completed the Health Reformers Academy Fellowship.
