Leah Sargeant
Leah Sargeant is the Editorial Director at the Institute for Progress. She previously was a senior policy analyst at the Niskanen Center specializing in work and family with the center’s Social Policy team. She previously worked to facilitate debates on college campuses for Braver Angels. As a freelance journalist, she was a Wollstonecraft Fellow and a Novak Fellow. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, National Review, and elsewhere.
Sargeant earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University. She is the author of three books, most recently The Dignity of Dependence.
